Returns & Repairs
Full price products purchased from Tale of Heart’s online store may be returned for credit in Australia if returned unworn, in saleable condition within 14 days of dispatch date excluding any pre order pieces or personalisation studio pieces. All earrings must be returned via our return portal.
Tale of Heart does not issue refunds for change of mind, incorrect purchases and or late returns outside the 14 days of dispatch date.
For Australian domestic orders a $35 flat fee will be deducted from your credit once a shipping label is generated.Your item(s) must be returned in their original protective packaging, carefully secured to avoid damage in transit. It is at the client’s responsibility to safely return piece(s) to Tale of Heart and it remains their responsibility until confirmation of receipt by our customer service team.
Tale of Heart credits are issued once a return has been received and its condition assessed. Tale of Heart credits are in the form of a gift card and are valid for use in our online at taleofheart.com for a period of two years.

Tale of Heart does not accept returns if products are:

Ordered incorrectly

Used or not in new condition

Not returned in their original condition or packaging

Returned outside of the specified return timeframe

From our personalisation studio (bespoke nature)

Due to change of mind
Tale of Heart reserve the right to return the piece(s) to the sender, should any of the above occur. Products purchased during archive sale may not be returned unless deemed faulty in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Repair & Returns
If you are returning an item for repair, please lodge your request via our return portal HERE.
Your item(s) must be returned in their original or similar protective packaging, carefully secured to avoid damage in transit. It is at the client’s expense to safely return piece(s) to Tale of Heart and it remains their responsibility until confirmation of receipt by our customer service team.
Please note if the item(s) arrives in a condition that does not reflect our requirements, the repair will not be accepted and returned to you at your own expense.
Domestic repairs will incur a flat rate fee of $35. For international customers please contact us at hello@taleofheart.com for a quote. The return shipping costs are respective to your destination country. The cost will be stated on your repair invoice and additional duties and taxes may be calculable and payable at checkout.
REPAIR SHIPPING OUTSIDE WARRANTY
Outside our manufacturer’s warranty, it is at the client’s expense to safely return piece(s) to Tale of Heart. Return shipping costs will be added to your repair invoice and payment is required prior to repairing your item.
If your pieces have been tempered and or altered, Tale of Heart reserved the right to turn back repair as the integrity, quality and craftmanship may have been impacted.
PAID REPAIRS & POST-WARRANTY SUPPORT
If your jewellery is to fall outside the 12 month warranty window,

Requires resizing, or

Shows signs of general wear, damage or impact

Needs resizing
It will be treated as a paid repair. Our team will assess the jewellery carefully and will share a quote with you accordingly.

Not all items can be repaired due to various reasons

The cost may vary for each repair given the issues, materials, craftmanship and more

We may offer recycling for non repairable items as part of our sustainability program to ensure your precious jewellery can extend it’s lifetime, but this is a case by case basis
